Session Details
The purpose of the sunrise symposia is to encourage discussion and sharing of ideas between attendees on a specific burn-related topic in an informal, interactive manner. There is no AV for symposia sessions. All rooms will be provided a flip chart. Symposia rooms will accommodate up to 50 people, this is intentional to encourage an open discussion format. Standing in the back/perimeter of the room or adding additional seating will not be permitted.
Suggestions for Running an Effective Session:
Arrive at the room approximately 15 minutes before the session so you have time to check in with the co-moderator(s).
Begin with introductions as moderators and then move into the topics that are to be discussed with the attendees.
Make sure you have a couple of questions or ideas to discuss, in case attendees need a little help getting started.
Keep the session on time, these sessions are 60 minutes.
