Education ForumsÂ
Forums are concurrently running sessions that provide in-depth education on specific topics. These sessions are 1.5 or 2 hours in length. These may have target audiences or be multi-disciplinary in focus. Sessions will be managed by two or more Course Directors and can include multiple speaker presentations. Didactic lecture, break out discussions, group activities, polling questions, and panel discussions are all appropriate teaching methods for Education Forum. Course Directors are encouraged to keep the learning interactive and engaging for the audience. Â
SymposiaÂ
Interactive discussion sessions moderated by experts in the field. These sessions are an hour in length and are meant to be an opportunity to share ideas about the topic. Moderators are expected to prepare discussion questions and participants are asked to come prepared to participate with their own practice successes, failures, and questions. These sessions are intentionally limited to 50 attendees to facilitate discussion. Formal presentations are not allowed for Symposia sessions. A/V will not be provided. All rooms will have a flipchart to capture ideas and discussion points.  Â
Pre-conference Session
Pre-conference sessions are 4-8 hour workshops with a combination of didactics and hands-on application of learning.
Scientific Posters
Scientific posters are visual summaries of research designed to showcase scientific discoveries. Researchers create these posters to present their findings, with attendees browsing the gallery to view the posters and hear presentations directly from the researchers. Poster viewing sessions are available for two days, each lasting one hour.
Speaker Stipend RequestÂ
You can submit a stipend request along with your proposal on the 2025 Annual Meeting proposal submission site. Â
NOTE: Even if you will be requesting registration fee only be waived for your speaker, you still need to complete the stipend request during your proposal submission. All requests will be reviewed by the Program Committee, and you will be notified of the decision by late-July.Â
