After the ballot has been created/scheduled, create the discussion by selecting the discussion tab and selecting “Post New Message”.
Once in the new message page, use the template below:
Be sure to link the URL for that exact corresponding ballot (not the entire ballot page).
Attach the formatted site report and the PRQ (download from BCQV).
Notes to keep in mind:
VRC members are notified when a discussion item is posted, but not when a ballot is posted.
It is wise to schedule the ballot and the discussion item to post simultaneously. If you do not live in the central time zone, please be mindful of the time difference (ballots are CT by default, discussion posts may not be). It may be a good idea to schedule the discussion item to post after the ballot just to be sure.
