Abstract Submission Sections

Abstract

Includes the: title, introduction, methods, results, conclusions, and applicability to research. The combined length may not exceed 2,500 characters.

You will choose a category:

  • Aftercare and Reintegration

  • Clinical Sciences: Critical Care and Medical Care

  • Clinical Sciences: Burn and Wound Closure- Acute Surgical and Medical

  • Disaster/Mass Casualty/ Firefighter Issues

  • Epidemiology, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Ethics

  • Fiscal, Economics, and Leadership

  • Nursing

  • Pain and Pruritis

  • Public Health/Prevention

  • Psychological and Psychosocial

  • Quality Improvement

  • Reconstruction and Clinical Management of Scars

  • Rehabilitation

  • Basic or Translational Sciences

You will include the following information in your submission:

Author Information

Includes the author’s first name, last name, and email address. A green check mark indicates a complete profile.

Attestation

Every author must compete an attestation form. Authors must attest that the abstract is evidence-based, materials are HIPAA compliant, there is no commercial interest/bias, and abides by ABA policies.

Abstract Instructions Confirmation

The submitter must acknowledge the statements below.

Tables/ Graphs/ Images

Two files may be uploaded. They must be .jpg, .jprg, .png format. The table/graphic MUST BE no larger than 3.25" high or wide for the printed program.

Presentation Preference

Submitters must select whether their presentation preference is podium, poster, or if they have no preference. The submitter must also agree that one of the authors will register to attend and present the abstract, if accepted.

Disclosure

Every author must submit a disclosure form.

Award Consideration

The abstract submitter can select an award to be considered for. The manuscript must be submitted directly to JBCR.
