Choosing Your BCQP Users

Your BCQP participation fee includes up to four (4) users with access to any combination of data entry, verification, and reporting.

  • Registrars for your organization will not count towards your four users if you are FULL PLATFORM. Registrars are those who will be regularly entering patient data into the registry.

  • An additional three (3) users can be set up with access to Verification. If your burn center does not have an upcoming verification, please do not add
    three additional users now. The three users can be added when verification access is needed.

  • An Administrator Only position will not toward your 4 users. Typically, someone from hospital IT who does not use other areas of BCQP but will manage
    the users. This role is optional.

Form Tips:

  • If you need more than 4 BCQP users, 4 Registrars, or more than 3 Verification users, please contact bcqp@ameriburn.org for approval.

  • Administrator access can manage users and update burn center profile information.

BCQP Administrator  

  • The administrator role can manage users (add, remove and edit) and update burn center profile information. 

  • Pays center invoices

  • Administrators must take a BCQP admin training to be granted full admin privileges

  • You can add an administrator-only role for the purpose of only managing users (likely someone from your IT department). Admin-only roles will not count toward your 4 users if they do not have access to dashboards, reporting or data entry

Burn Center User 

  • Select for anyone who will not have administrator access.

Data Entry (Only for Full Platform) 

  • Patient registrar - Only for those who will actively be adding cases to the registry.

  • Read only – Can view registry cases but cannot edit or add patients to the registry.

  • Other data entry - Users have edit rights in data entry. Select this op􀆟on for users who are not pa􀆟ent registrars but will need access to edit cases.

Reporting 

  • Dashboard viewer – View access to benchmark reports and risk models.  

  • All reports viewer – View access to benchmark reports, risk models, burn center summary reports, and burn center created reports.  

  • Explorer (Only for Full Platform) – View and edit access. This user is the report writer for your burn center, with an ability to share reports with All report’s viewer users. 

 

Once decided who will be your BCQP Admin, they will fill out one of the user forms below and email to BCQP@ameriburn.org for next steps.
