 This article explains the role and essential tasks of an ABLS Now Team Leader.

When you request the seats, we will assign you as the “Team Manager”. This means that you will have the ability to add participants to the ABLS Now course as well as monitor progress and completion for each participant in real time through your team dashboard.

You no longer need to differentiate between physician and non-physician.

As Team Manager you will manage who can be enrolled in the ABLS Now course.

  • Users must have an ABA account and have clicked on the Learning Center link before you will be able to enroll them in the course. This step tells the learning management system (LMS) that the person has an ABA user record.

  • When you add participants, they will receive an email with a link to the new site. You the team where they can access the course. Users must be logged into your their ABA Profileaccount before you they click the link. This will automatically sign you them in.

  • Once there you , the participant can click on the “teams” tab to be directed to your their team or “courses” to see what courses you they personally have in progress.

  2. Click “Invite by email” on the right hand side and add all the participants, separate each email with a comma.

Hello and welcome to ABLS™ Now! This is a self paced course that usually takes around 5 hours to complete. You can pause and continue the course whenever you need to by accessing it through the “learning center” icon on the left hand side of your ABA profile. You will have two attempts to pass the final exam, if you do not pass after the second try, you will need to repurchase ABLS™ Now. Once you have completed your course, you will be prompted to complete a course evaluation. You must complete this evaluation to receive your certification code. This code must be entered into Impexium to receive your certificate. If you have any trouble navigating the site, please reach out to Path technical support on the course page. If you have questions about ABLS™ Now or certification, please reach out to abls@ameriburn.org

All users must have an ABA profile and have their demographics filled out to complete the evaluation and certify. If they have not logged in to Path previously, they will not appear on the list to be added to the team and you will need to manually input their email.

  1. When you invite a person to your team, you will see just their email in italics and the date they were invited on the far right. Once they have accepted, their name will appear, now in bold, and the date of the invite will no longer be visible.

To monitor who in your team has started or completed the course, go to your team dashboard and click on “credits completed” to see who has passed and on “Assignments” to see if any failed.
